Make 2015 Your Best Year Ever!!

Think back on the past year. How was 2014 for you? On a scale of 1-10, how would you rate it? Was it a "9" or "10"? If so, how do you make the next year just as good or better? If not, how would you rate it? Was it a "6" to an "8"? Was it a "5" or lower?

If it was anything lower than a "9", you must do something to make the next year better - unless you don't care - which I assume doesn't apply to you since you are reading this newsletter and, therefore, probably want to be as happy as possible.

Don't Make RESOLUTIONS...

Have you set "New Years Resolutions"?

Well, as stated in the "Happiness Facts" at the top of this newsletter, about half of us do. It's basically our attempt to make the next year better (in other words, "happier") than the past year. The problem is, more than 9 out of 10 of the people who make New Years Resolutions fail to live up to those resolutions.

So, the first thing to "not do" is rely on resolutions to get what you want for the next year and beyond. Set goals instead. Goals are much different than resolutions. Resolutions are relatively "weak" statements of general "intent" which don't require a plan of action. That's why they so often fail. Some common resolutions, for example, are to "lose weight", "get a better job", "manage stress", or "save money".

Goals, on the other hand, are very specific and require an action plan. In fact, many of the "resolutions" just mentioned could be part of an action plan for a specific goal.

"Saving money" and "getting a better job" could be part of the action plan for the goal of "create a one-million-dollar net worth by 2020", for example. Or, as another example, the resolution "get a better job" could be completely replaced by a goal which states, "create a $200,000 per year income by doing something I love for a career".

Do you see the difference?

These goals are much more specific and require the creation of an action plan.

It's obviously much more detailed than this, so that's what the next section is all about - taking action and creating a plan to get where you want to be by the end of 2015 so you are happier and more fulfilled - and so that 2015 is your best year ever! Keep reading...

BeHappy! ACTIONS TO TAKE UNTIL THE NEXT ISSUE OF THIS NEWSLETTER

Like everything in life, the old saying, “practice makes perfect” applies to happiness, too. By using the tools and concepts in the book, BeHappy! - and applying the principles found at BeHappy101.com and in this bi-monthly newsletter - you'll get the coaching and the “practice” you need to lead the happiest possible life.

There is just one action to take here (although it involves several steps). That is, set true goals. If you are one of the people who have set New Years Resolutions, those resolutions can be a start. You now need to make them more specific, though, and create an action plan for achievement of those goals. And, if you haven't set resolutions for 2015, no problem. Either way, the first thing to do to get into goal setting is to click here now to get started. That's the action for this time.
