Fun...

Work in Progress

Are we having fun yet?

Is having fun part of your definition of happiness?
Is your life fun?
Is what you do "for a living" fun to you?
Do you need more fun in your life?
Are you a "fun" person?

This section of BeHappy101.com will help you be more fun and have more fun - if that's something you want or need in your life.

Fun?

What is fun? Well, I don't think I need to define it, because everyone really knows the meaning of the word. In the context of happiness, the two questions to ask yourself regarding "fun" are:
  1. Is having fun (a fun life) important to you?
  2. What is fun to you?
Children know how to have fun...

Everything is fun for children. Do you remember when you were a kid? What was fun for you then? Can you be a bit more "child-like" to make your life more fun and happy?

Certainly life is not "all fun and games". But, having fun can be (and probably should be) a part of your life (possibly a big part of your life). It can be a great stress management tool.

Personally, I love to have fun - and while it's not technically part of my definition of happiness, it is an important part of my life. So, what about you? Would having more fun make your life happier? If so, what would be fun for you and, importantly, what is your plan for having more fun in your life?

Some things people do for fun:

  • Play sports
  • Have a hobby
  • Play music
  • Advance their career
  • Dance
  • Sing
  • Ski
  • Go to the beach
  • Hike
  • Work on their business
  • Travel
  • Go on a cruise
  • Boating
...and the list goes on and on.

The great thing is, everyone's perception of what's fun can be different. And, really, there are no rules (unless, obviously, it is illegal or immoral).

This section of BeHappy101.com is a "work in progress". So check back soon for ways to make your life more fun and exciting - if that's what will make you happy.

In the meantime, think about where fun fits in your life. Contemplate whether you need to be having more fun in your life, or whether you need to be a more fun person. Then, as part of the process for creating your life's Happiness Plan, make sure to add "fun" into your plan - especially if it's important to your overall happiness.

BeHappy! my friends
