Follow Up from the Last Edition of The BeHappy! Newsletter

The previous edition of The BeHappy! Newsletter was about travel.

Since we are just finishing up the summer “vacation” season, many people travel for part of the summer. I’ve talked to many friends over the past few weeks, most of whom did some traveling over the past few months.

Our summer, for eample, started out driving from Tampa Florida to Newport Beach California. It was fantastic!! We made stops in New Orleans LA, Austin TX, Carlsbad Caverns NM, Santa Fe NM, Grand Canyon AZ and then ended up at our boat in Newport Beach CA, where we spent the whole summer (until a few weeks ago).

And, as mentioned in the previous newsletter about travel, we experienced nearly all the “positive” aspects and benefits associated with travel.

How about you?

Did you travel? If so, how did it go? Did you have some memorable experiences? Did you meet some new people? Did you experience any different cultures? Did you fulfill any goals or just get some relief from the stress of everyday life?

I sure hope so. Travel can achieve many – or most of these things. And, if you didn’t travel this summer, put it on your “to do” list for sometime in the next year. You’ll likely be happy you did. End of the Year Planning

Now that summer is over, many people start thinking about the “end of the year” and all the activities associated with the upcoming “holiday season”.

So, as we do every year here at, this edition of the BeHappy! Newsletter provides some early preparation for the end of the year holiday season and a look forward to make it as happy and stress-free as possible - and to making next year (2016) your best year ever. So read on…

End of the Year (and Early Holiday) Planning

It’s September, summer is behind us, and so for many people, it’s now a “mad dash” from “back to school”, through a series of monthly or even weekly “holidays” (depending on your nationality and/or religious/spiritual beliefs), right through to the “New Year” celebration.

How is this time of year for you?

Is it fulfilling, fun, and “happy” or is it empty, stressed, and depressing?

It’s different for everyone (if you haven’t already, check out the “holiday happiness infographic” by clicking here). It indicates some of the ways various people view and deal with the holidays.

Since it’s still only September, though, it may be hard for you to even start thinking about the holidays yet. So, for this early “prep” edition, all I want to do is help you create a “definition” (and a plan) for what the rest of the year - and the perfect holiday season - would look like for you.

As with many other things (including your overall happiness), knowing what the end result means to you is the best first step to making life the way you want it. It all starts with defining the “ideal” situation and then creating a plan for it.

So, this edition of the newsletter is probably the shortest one ever.

The only objective is to get you ready for the next 3 months – and to help you make it as smooth, calm, and “happy” as possible by first, defining the “ideal” end-of-the-year and holiday season for you and then outlining a plan to make it happen exactly the way you want.

As you will see, part of it starts with your own personal Definition of Happiness (which I have discussed with you many, many times before). Like everything in life, the old saying, “practice makes perfect” also applies to happiness. By using the tools and concepts in the book, BeHappy! - and applying the principles found at and in this bi-monthly newsletter - you'll get the coaching and the “practice” you need to lead the happiest possible life.

It takes daily action to get “perfect” at it, though.

2. Now, define what a “happy holiday season” would mean for you. I have provided a “Holiday Happiness Planner” for you to use as a guide to create this “definition” (click here to open it). Then, once you have the ideal holiday season defined for you…

3. Use the Planner to design the specifics for the holiday season.

That's it for this edition. It's simple, easy, and quick. But it will make a huge difference in the next few months (and longer).
